ABOUT B.I.T. BASEBALL LEAGUE
Back In Time Baseball League was played using Al Wilson's Fast Inning Baseball.
The tournament setting was double elimination. Each series was best 2 out of 3 until the final which was best out of seven. The Tigers never lost a series during the tournament. They almost lost to the Washington Senators, but won 2-1 holding onto the lead for five innings.
In 1908, the season went from April 14th to October 14th. The Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers were the regular season winners of the National and American League. In 1908, the Chicago Cubs won four games to one to win the World Series.
In this tournament replay, the Chicago Cubs were in the semi-finals against the Philadelphia Phillies but were swept two games to none.
Please check out Fast Inning Baseball at: fastinningbaseball.com/downloads. The game is free, however their are donations taken for worthy causes. Each game plays in about 5 -10 minutes. My average time with writing down stats for key and clutch hits, innings pitched, and errors took about 8 - 10 minutes.
Enjoy the game and please check other posts on the site.
